up to 10 individuals (sometimes more)

WHAT

Rent the Ice by the Curling Sheet or by the entire ice Rink (5 Curling Sheets).  Either Learn or Play based on groups experience. 

WHEN

SMALL: Anytime we offer a Learn to Curl and the sheet is not been reserved by others.  Typically posted 2-3 weeks in advance.  Call 816-523-2345 if you want to check on available dates.  Look between the months of (October-April) and (June-July). 

LARGE: Anytime the facility has available ice and we have enough volunteers to cover your group request.  Typically Sat. Nights are the best time  Summer better than Winter for other time requests

WHO

Anyone with prior experience or taken a Learn to Curl Class can play, otherwise all in your group will take a Learn to Curl. here a  volunteer club member will show you the fundamentals to sliding a stone and sweeping. This will introduce you to the game, make you comfortable on the ice, and ready to try playing a match your next time out.  Curling is for most ages (8-80+). Men and Women.

Cost

SMALL:

  • $25 per person

  • $150 for up to 10.  $15 per person after that

LARGE:

  • $290 per hour for entire ice rink (5 sheets) non profit

  • $365 per hour for entire ice rink (5 sheets) for profit

1.5 hours is typical though 2 hours allow for more time to play.

All you need to play
  • rubber-soled shoes to grip the ice, clean of debris

  • layered loose fitted clothes to keep you warm at roughly 45 degrees

  • bike or skate helmet optional. *We have limited helmets for your use if you want the additional safety

  • Cash , Check , or  Credit Cards accepted using "Square".

  • Waiver for Adult (PDF) or Youth (PDF)
