YEARLY SCHEDULE
We curl Saturdays: from 4:15pm-6:00pm, and Sunday from 8:45am-10:30am. In Janaury, we will add Saturday 5:45pm-7:30p.

Winter Season: (20 Weeks) Starts First of October-April $300 / First time curlers get a free curling broom. Includes all three Leagues below plus two open play dates.

Fall League: (6 Weeks) First of October-End of December $110 / First time curlers $90

Winter League: (6 Weeks) First of Janaury-Mid February $110 / First time curlers $90

Spring League: (6 Weeks) Mid February-First April $110 / First time curlers $90

Open Play and Subbing: Offered anytime we curl above when space is available $25, Free if playing in a simulteanous league

Learn to Curl: Offered anytime we have sheet available. First time curlers should take this offered before their league or will take the first week in the league as a learn to curl. $25, $15 if you join a league.

Curling Sheet Rental: Learn or Play on any open curling sheet during our curling season $150 for up to 10 people. Simply register for any Learn to curls and let us know if you want to learn or play.

Ice Rink Rental: All 5 curling sheets can accomodate up to 50 people whenever a sheet is open. Call us at 816-523-2345 or check our details here.
Beginners
Curling is Easy to Learn, Difficult to Master; rewards those with good balance, physical conditioning & keen observation/stategy skills.

Curlers are typically between the ages of 8-80+, men and women play together or against.

No team is required to join leagues but curling with friends can be just as fun.

Need no special equipment to to get started but See what you should bring.

No experience is required to join leagues, though taking a Learn to Curl prior to the league will eliminate the need to Learn the first week.

A volunteer club member will show you the fundamentals to sliding a stone and sweeping.

Our Learn to curl is meant to introduce you to the sport by getting you comfortable on the ice. Many are able to start playing and develop their skills through playing after that.
Offered Late Saturday Afternoons or Sunday Morning during our 20 week Winter Season (Oct. to April) or Summer League (June-July). They are posted 1-3 weeks ahead of time. We also have special events around Christmas and the Olympics.

Beginner or Experienced, Each league is open to first 40 registered . No team required, Season curlers get priority over league registrations. As a Season or League Curler, join our League Page to receive updates and us our sub list so you can curl additionally for free.
Our 20 week winter season kicks off in October. You can play it all or any of the three 6 week leagues offered within the season till April. In June-July we offer a single 6 week league. Times are late Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning.

Birthday Party , a gathering of Friends or Family, Curling is a great way to spend some time either learning to curl for up to 10 or playing a match for up to 8. If playing,all in your group should have prior curling experience.
Offered during our 20 week Winter Season (Oct. to April) or Summer League (June-July) Saturday Afternoons or Sunday Morning. Only when a sheet is available.
Simply reserve 10 spots under Learn to Curl to set aside a sheet or call 816-523-2345 to check availability.

Bonspiel
Curlers in our club travel as well as play in our local weekend curling competition.

Enjoy good food, drink and at least 3 matches as you compete over the weekend locally or at other clubs.
Bonspiels are happening nearly every weekend yearround. We host our Local KC Barbecue Bonspiel in Early August, typically when the KC Royals are at Kauffman Stadium.

Competition
United States Curling Association and Neighboring Clubs offer a number of event to push your curling skills
Our League are, in general, recreational to allow for the development of new curler. However we will cater to the needs of our membership such as the playoffs we offered to select the representing team to Arena Nationals.
Talk with our Bonspiel & Competition Chair and learn more about the possible events outside of our club.
